Brock Elbank's Photographs Of The Special Beauty Of Freckled People

Brock Elbank, a photographer based in London, is traveling to capture 150 individuals with freckles for his upcoming exhibition in 2017. Since the middle of 2015, he has produced 90 remarkable portraits that honor beauty.

I've always admired freckles, Elbank said. What fascinates me about the people I've had the good fortune to photograph is how many of them have struggled with their freckles since they were young, either hating them or learning to live with them or even coming to like them as adults.

"One of the subjects I photographed for the series in September spent a good three to four hours with me after the session, talking about how they felt as a child, tormented, and rejected at school for their appearance, which really startled me as I discovered.
