East Java's Jember Regency experienced an earthquake on Tuesday, December 06, 2022, no potential for a Tsunami. - According to information from the BMKG website, the 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck at 13:07:48 WIB.

284 kilometers (Km) to the west of Southwest, Jember, the epicenter was in the sea. The earthquake occurred 10 km below the surface.
