Great Lego Vehicles Take Over The Streets Of Rome
Check out these awesomely fantastical images to see what we mean. They originate from the Italian photographer Domenico Franco's project, "LEGO outside LEGOLAND," in which he digitally augmented LEGO automobiles, vans, and even helicopters onto the cobblestone streets of Rome. By forcing the toys to leave the idyllic and politically correct landscapes of their idealistic cities (like LEGOLAND), he claims, "the aim is to transform ordinary contexts into extraordinary ones, with the result that they are instilled with those vices, virtues, and desires typical of human beings."
